I only used this text on occasion. I didnt like the format of the text with blanks on one side and the answers on the other.

i read this before starting my first chest rotation. it helped a lot with learning how to read chest xrays. the question and answer format makes it very engaging and I find the retention of the material to be higher than normal.

it won't teach you about PAP or UIP, but you can read other books for that.

highly recommend it for reading before your first chest rotation!

Excellent text for anybody who wants the basics on reading a chest x-ray. Many are familiar with other programmed texts so this should be very familiar. If not, a great way to learn "interactively" Great for students, interns and even starting residents. Could be read in a day or two.

Enjoyed this intro to Roentgenology. The book takes the novice through the steps of looking at an x-ray, what to look for, along with questions on each page to reinforce the information just presented. I will refer to this book in the future when looking at x-rays and when deciding which presentation to order.

I really like the Dubin EKG text and heard this was similar. It took longer to get through this than Dubin and I think Dubin had more content. This book is still very helpful and could be read early on in med school or as a third year when you'll actually be reading some chest films.
